Follow both written instructions and diagrams.

| 1. Pull all three pole sections into view. |

| 2. Grasping firmly the pole grip with one hand and the central pole section with the other, extend the central section to the desired length. |

| 3. Grasping the pole grip firmly with one hand, use the other hand to rotate the upper locking system into the ‘lock’ position, as indicated by the Exel logo. |

| 4. Grasping the central section of the pole with one hand, use the other hand to pull the lower section out as far as the stop mark. Never adjust the length of the pole to beyond the stop mark. |

| 5. Holding firm the central section of the pole with one hand, use the other hand to rotate the lower locking system into the ‘lock’ position, as indicated by the Exel logo. |

| 6. Your poles are now ready for use. In order to ensure that the pole sections are firmly locked into position, lean lightly on each pole. |
